Nechan Naicker

Nechan is an entrepreneur with over 23 years’ experience in business development, energy technology advancement, and local electronic product development. He is the founder of EDA Technologies, a recognised South African industrial company that has helped many companies to design and develop world-class innovative products from electronics in space satellites to the latest Industry 4.0 products. Nechan founded the Megamillion Energy Company to advance energy storage systems in Africa. Nechan has served on a number of Boards of SA technology companies, has held senior advisory positions in global electronics bodies (Technical Committee Member of DesignCon USA), served as public speaker at local and international technical events, and even served as Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the SA Technology Station in Electronics (a Dept of Science & Technology program to promote localization of electronics design and manufacturing). He is also the founder of a non-profit company, Education on Demand, whose mission is to provide free computers to the millions of children that do not have any access to basic education. Nechan is an entrepreneur at heart, whose personal motto is “Think big. Plan accordingly. Make a difference.”
