Prof Mohamad Taha

Professor Mohamad Taha is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Rafik Hariri University (RHU) . He holds Bsc from Garyunis university in Libya, Msc. degree from the University of Bradford (UK) -1988 and a Ph.D. from Aston University (UK) – 1992. Dr Tah did his post-doctoral work at the Imperial College – University of London., and have worked as a senior design engineer at Houchin Aerospace , Lucas Aerospace and Goodrich Power Systems. He served as Chairman of the Electrical and Computer and Communication Department at Hariri Canadian University- Lebanon , full professor at Rafik Hariri University where he was also Assistant Dean. His research speciality spans the fields of AC and DC Drives, Renewable Energy, Power System and Smart Grids He is a IET member and Chartered Engineer as well senior IEEE member and serves on the board of many International Journals and conferences.
